      It's an app and equipment from Mantis. They make different devices for firearms, archery, ect. on their website you can look through and get. Then just download the app and sync them up through bluetooth.

    I dip my head when at full draw because my peep height is sighted in for 50 yards as I shoot longer distances. If I put my peep height at the correct height if sighting in at 20 yards, I would have a floating anchor hand when shooting at 100%. Thoughts?

    • @rcrchery
      @rcrchery 3 дні тому

      Couple things to try. I really like a method of setting up my peep at a closer yardage and letting my jaw slack open some incrementally as the distance increases. This keeps my anchor point the same for the most part and my head position. Another thought pattern is to not worry about anchor position with the hand and just line up the peep and scope by moving the hand up and down instead of tilting the head. When we tilt the head down our front shoulder tends to want to rise up and we lose stability and connection there.

    Robert, in your form, you seem to be leaning forwards quite a bit. Do you have more weight on your front foot vs your back foot? I tried shifting my weight forward and loading my back muscles as you described and man my pin just stopped moving.

      @rcrchery 6 днів тому

      Hey Brian, I try to stand with even pressure between feet or slightly towards the back but I do have a tendency at times to get too much weight on the front foot. In some of these clips I was dealing with more weight on the front foot than the back though. Good eye!!

      Try an arrow in the waistband, nock up into the armpit area on the back hip side. Helps you feel it right away. Then focus on getting the head a little over the front foot when you draw and settle to even at anchor.

    just a tip. I paper tune bareshafts and have some blue loctite in a spray can lid sitting on the bench. For each shot, dip the arrow tip into the loctite. When you shoot through paper you'll see an EXACT spot where the tip went in relative to the nock. It helps make your tears crystal clear when lets face it, they aren't always easy to decipher. Tears that you would have called bullet holes are more often that not revealed as not even close.

    Can you just do a half rotation of the string at the top cam or do you also have to twist the string at the bottom cam?

      Yes you can. Using the top of the string will give a different rotation amount than the bottom so you can use that to fine tune peep twist as well.

      @@rcrchery ok thanks for the info, new strings and cables have settled, peep rotated about 90 degrees, I have a v3x 29 with the S.A.S. system, bow shop about an hour away. I think I’ll give it a shot at adjusting it myself. Very daunting task when you’ve never done anything like that, thanks for your help!

    when I balance my bow hanged with a rope, the bubble is not in the center due to my lateral. it does not matter?

      Here’s my thoughts on this an other methods that are similar. Do we shoot our bows while they’re hanging from a string? No. So let’s get it balanced for us while it’s in our own hands and while we’re shooting. We want it working for us during the job at hand. For me, and the majority of archery’s, if you looked at the balance statically with a rope balance it’ll hand forward and to the left if you’re a right handed archer. Because of the forces pulling back on the bow at full draw and our hand/arm pushing into it we have to counterbalance that. So at rest under no load it’ll show that.
